Initial Consultation
As with all therapeutic approaches creating a relationship of trust is fundamental to our work together. With this in mind, the first step is to either have a short conversation on the phone or email me, to arrange an initial consultation. The initial consultation will be an opportunity to discuss your reasons for seeking counselling, to see how comfortable you feel with me and to ask any questions that you may have. Following this assessment, if we both agree to work together, we will continue the therapy once weekly.
Our work together is an ongoing process, but we will have a review at 8 weeks, to check that we are both happy to continue.
This initial consultation is for 50 minutes and is charged at the full rate.
Counselling sessions
Take place once a week at a regular time and last for 50 minutes.
My consulting room is in:
St Albans, Hertfordshire. The fee is £80
Private Medical insurance
Appproved Healthcare provider for : Bupa, Aviva, AXA
If you are registered with the above private medical insurance company, you may be able to get your sessions paid for by them. I will require your pre-authorisation number, membership number and number of sessions approved, prior to your first session.
Online Counselling
These are carried out via Skype, or Zoom and follow a similar structure to in-person sessions, The fee is £80.
